Falmouth Gig Club was formely founded in 1987 with it's first gig, Energy, being built in 1985 at Falmouth Technical College. The club owns three gigs, Energy, Fury and Idas, and has the use of two privately owned gigs, Irene and Irene Too. A new racing gig is on order and due for delivery to the club in 2010. If you would like to own a share in the new gig, a 64th, just click on Fundraising to find out how much a 64th share cost's and how to purchase them. Winter Novice sessions are starting on Saturday 18 October 2008 from 11am to 1pm. There'll be experienced rowers on hand to guide you through your first strokes on the water. Under sixteens are very welcome and the club has a excellent juniors program. Your first novice session is free, and after that it's the princely sum of £1.50p!
